Periodic Maintenance Requirements

• Weekly:
Remove non-decomposable items. In the course of putting food into the machine, some items that are not decomposable, such as silverware, bones, shells and plastics are inevitably going to get thrown in. These items will not hurt the machine, but will periodically need to be removed.

• Quarterly: The microorganism population needs to be rejuvinated. This is done by adding GK Bio-zyme liquid.

• Every Two Years: The Bio Star media needs to be replaced after two years of use.
